THE MOSAICISTS

The cultural and artistic approach in the mosaic art includes basic and standard stages of technical construction in combination with the cultivation of the aesthetical optical point of view. The personal experience of the participants is based on the creative use of free time and develops critical thought and observation.

The whole procedure of the mosaic construction promotes collaboration, collective creation and team participation in the frame of a common goal and highlights multiculturalism and diversity , without setting any sense of competition.

It creates a dialogic platform with the cultural inheritance and enhances the development of ecological consciousness.

The whole involvement with the mosaic art is directed to various age target groups and especially to children’s groups. It is held under an intuitive, easy and entertaining way with different ceramic materials, glass tiles, glazes and natural stones and the use of recycled materials as well.

Each tile creates the springboard in a continuous journey of knowledge, of a private and collective participation creating a mosaic of experiences and sentimental values between the past, the present and the future .
